DESCRIPTION:Our 18-month National Nurturing Schools Programme will support your school to: \n\nDevelop a nurturing culture to remove barriers to learning and wellbeing\nTarget your interventions so children and young people succeed\nImprove engagement and school attendance\nApply for the prestigious National Nurturing Schools Award\n\n\n\n\n	\n		\n	\n\n\n	\n		\n\n						\n		\n\n			\n	\n			Meet your trainer	\n\n\n	\n\n\n			\n	\n	\n				\n					\n		Carrie Thorne\n	\n\n\n			\n	\n	Throughout this training programme\, Carrie will be your trainer and consultant. \nCarrie has a huge depth of experience in schools from EYFS to year nine. She has been a SENCO\, inclusion lead\, deputy headteacher\, and a nurture lead that has established nurture classrooms. During sign-up\, you’ll need to add two members of your team as delegates - one should be a school leader. Once you’ve completed your order\, we’ll reserve your places on your Zoom sessions immediately.  \nYou’ll be guided through the programme by nurtureuk’s expert consultants - experienced nurture leaders and practitioners. \nZoom training sessions with other schools\n\nModule 1: 15 April 2027 – 09:00-12:00\nModule 2: 29 April 2027 – 09:00-12:00\nModule 3: 6 May 2027 – 09:00-13:00\n4-month catch-up: 28 September 2027 – 09:00-12:00\n8-month catch-up: 12 January 2028 –  09:00-12:00\n\nSingle-school Zoom sessions\n\n12-month catch-up: 3 or 4 May 2028 - 1 hour\, time tbc\n\nBoxall Profile® Online subscription\nYour Boxall Profile® Online subscription will be activated after Module 2\, and will be valid for two years from activation.   \nResources\nBy signing up for the programme you’ll get extra resources worth over £750. You’ll get: \n\n400 menu points to be used on extra products and services of your choice\nAccess to our online learning platform for course materials for two years\nE-learning on the Boxall® Profile Online for an extra 10 members of your team\nA Beyond the Boxall Profile: Whole-Class Strategies publication\nWorkbooks and independent tasks and activities\n\nAward\nIf you choose to apply for the National Nurturing Schools Award\, you’ll get:  \n\nAn in-depth Zoom assessment by one of our expert assessors\nIf successful\, an award plaque and certificate\n\nInvoicing\nOnce you’ve signed up for the programme\, you’re committed to pay the full cost. We’ll send your school two invoices: \n\nInvoice 1: £1\,675 +VAT due by the start of the programme\nInvoice 2: £1\,675 +VAT due one year later\n\nIf you need a purchase order number on your invoice\, please provide it during the booking process. \nSession details\nYour group training and review sessions will be with up to five other schools.  \n\nModule One introduces the whole-school approach using the Nurture Principles and the Boxall Profile®\nModule Two covers the rationale for the approach including an overview of attachment theory and neuroscience\nModule Three looks at the award standards and areas of development for your school\nThe 4-month and 8-month catch-ups are group sessions to review progress and your self-assessment\nThe 12-month catch-up is a one-hour individual session tailored to the needs of your school. \n\nDelegates from your school will need to attend all sessions. If you can’t make any of these sessions\, you can send another member of your team. If no one can make a session\,  you can arrange a catch-up session with your consultant\, but we’ll make an additional charge.  \nWe’ll use Zoom for these sessions\, unless we’ve agreed otherwise with your group. You’ll need to be in a quiet space\, with one screen for each delegate. If your workplace security system stops you using Zoom\, we recommend joining the sessions from home or another quiet location.
