This self-paced digital course delves into the crucial role of nurture and the impact of working with parents, families and carers. Rooted in the widely recognized Six Principles of Nurture, this course provides educators, and anyone working with pupils insights to create supportive and thriving environments.
Through reflective activities, and examples, you will gain a deep understanding of how to develop, enhance and embed successful parental engagement in your setting. Think of it like this: When educators and parents/carers work together, they create a powerful synergy that benefits the child or young person in numerous ways.
A Toolbox of Wellbeing by Dr Tina Rae
A must-have collection of easy-to-use activities to enhance emotional wellbeing in all children and young people.
For use at home and school by parents, carers, teachers and others concerned with the wellbeing of children and young people, with much-needed practical advice and ideas to support you in protecting mental health and wellbeing at a time of uncertainty and fear.
The activities are divided into sections for younger children, teenagers and whole groups or classes, and are grouped under the three key trauma recovery approaches of:
