nurtureuk works tirelessly to promote access to education for all. With increasing numbers of children and young people affected by social, emotional and behavioural difficulties inhibiting their progress and limiting their life chances, nurtureuk has developed a range of interventions and support to give disadvantaged children and young people the opportunity to leave school able to be contributing members of society and happy in that place. nurtureuk provides quality support and resources to make nurturing provision a reality for pupils across the UK and beyond.
With significant opportunities for growth, the CEO will join at an exciting time of change both within the charity and in the way it delivers its impact. Responsible for leading the charity and its practitioners across the UK, the post-holder will develop and implement strategic and business plans, build partnerships and be an advocate. Much work will be outward facing in order to raise the profile and uptake of the charity’s products whilst providing operational management through two Directors.
You will be a visionary leader who can capitalise on the opportunity we have to establish the charity as a national authority and force for change. With values-driven senior leadership experience and a demonstrable commitment to diversity and inclusivity, you will be collaborative and ideally have experience of managing geographically dispersed teams. Change management is key and you should be able to show where you successfully took a team through a change process.
You will need a good understanding of the education sector at a strategic level and above all, have a personal commitment to improving the lives of children and young people.
