MBQMA - Harmony Primary School, Belfast

I presented this award in the assembly hall, full of staff, fellow nurture group colleagues in Belfast, dignitaries and parents. Playing in the background was a PowerPoint presentation of the Sunshine Room in pictures. Primary 5 class sang beautifully with actions to the song: The Climb...very apt – a song about overcome difficulties and resilience. After watching an amazing performance from the Irish Dance Group, nurture teacher Karen Rae, talked about the journey the whole school has been on and the impact the nurture group has had on everyone.  Principal, Alison Hutchinson thanked everyone and also recognised the quality of the nurture group staff, Karen Rae and Chloe England, thanking them for their hard work and dedication.  Congratulations to all.
