Helen Stollery

Helen joined nurtureuk as a National Training Officer in September 2007 and is now the Head of Quality and Standards. She comes from a teaching background, working as a mainstream teacher for some time. Whilst teaching, she set up and ran a nurture group within an infant school. Before becoming a teacher, she spent 3 years volunteering in Bermuda for Bermuda Overcoming Learning Difficulties (BOLD), where she supported children with social and emotional behavioural difficulties as well as working closely with parents and teachers.

Since joining the Network, Helen has delivered and developed a range of courses which lead her to become nurtureuk's Head of Training. Now Head of Quality and Standards, Helen is leading on assessments for the Quality Mark Award, and the National Nurturing Schools Award.

Helen cares passionately about the social and emotional wellbeing of children, and believes wholeheartedly that nurture has the power to turn lives around.
