This live webinar is for schools that have expressed an interest in the Surrey Nurturing Schools Programme. This 1 hour webinar, delivered via Zoom, will introduce you to the Six Principles of Nurture. 

 

A solid understanding of The Six Principles of Nurture is crucial for education professionals looking to implement nurture in their settings. The Six Principles help staff to focus on the social and emotional needs and development of children and young people, ensuring all pupils are ready to learn. 

 

The Six Principles of Nurture form the basis of all the training being delivered as part of the Surrey Nurturing Schools Programme, including training on:

 

  • The Boxall Profile®
  • The Whole School Approach
  • Nurture Groups

 

When embedded in a school, the Six Principles of nurture improve attendance, behaviour and attainment, and ensure every child is able to learn.

 

We invite  any members of staff that would like to know more to come along. You will also have the opportunity to meet some of the other schools joining the Surrey Nurturing Schools Programme.
