You’ll also learn how to apply the Boxall Profile® in your school, a trusted, evidence-based assessment tool, to:

- Monitor progress and adapt support
- Demonstrate improvements to leaders and inspectors

Get 18 months of tailored support, including training and consultancy, plus a two-year unlimited Boxall Profile® Online subscription worth up to £1,300.

We’ll guide you through developing a nurturing school culture, building on what you’re already doing.

Schools that have completed the programme have found they improve pupil engagement and school attendance, reduce suspensions and improve behaviour, allowing teachers to get on with teaching.

Once you've got your award, it's renewed three years - we won't ask you to sign up for expensive training every year just to keep your accreditation.

What it will change

The programme is for one school leader from your school, plus another member of your team. You’ll learn how to:

Self assess where your school is on its nurture journey
Use Boxall Profile® Online assessments to target interventions
Manage change within your school to develop a nurturing school culture
Apply key ideas from the Six Principles of Nurture, attachment theory and neuroscience
Make targeted changes to improve the key metrics you’re focused on.

Once you’ve completed the programme, you can apply for the National Nurturing Schools Award to prove that you’re a recognised nurturing school - an assessment for the award is included.

Schools that have completed the programme have reported they improve pupil engagement and school attendance, along with reduced behaviour incidents, suspensions and exclusions. Some schools have improved staff retention.

Who it's for

This programme is designed primarily for schools looking to improve engagement and attendance and develop a strong sense of belonging. The sessions are designed for:

Senior leaders leading on inclusion, attendance and behaviour
Middle leaders

To complete the programme, at least one school leader needs to attend the sessions.

Pricing

£3,350 plus VAT
(around £6 per pupil each year on average)

Split into two payments: £1,675 in year 1 and £1,675 in year 2.
