The Boxall Profile®: An Educator’s Guide – 30 September 2026
Previously known as The Theory and Practice of the Boxall Profile®
This one-day course will show you how to use the Boxall Profile®, an invaluable tool for assessing pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural needs of pupils aged 4-18.
Meet your trainer
This training course will be delivered by Miranda.
Miranda has worked in education as a teacher, school leader and inclusion advisor since 2002. Miranda’s connected classroom practice prioritised safety, play and wellbeing and she has brought that ethos into supporting teachers and school leaders to understand the benefits of nurture.
The course will also explain how to create an individual assessment using the Boxall Profile® and how to interpret its findings to plan a response to pupils’ needs, using suggested targets, strategies and resources for the classroom, small groups, nurture groups or whole school settings.
As well as taking a practical look at the Boxall Profile®, the training will also explore some of the key concepts and principles underpinning its approach.
Each delegate will receive a copy of:
- The Boxall Profile® Handbook (Primary or Secondary)
- Beyond the Boxall Profile® (Primary or Secondary)
- Paper inserts for the Boxall Profile® (Primary or Secondary)
- A course workbook.
