Miranda Collins has worked for nurtureuk as a Consultant since 2018. She is part of the Inclusion Advisory Team in East Sussex, supporting primary and secondary schools to develop nurture groups or to embed nurture principles and practice throughout the whole school. Prior to taking these current roles, Miranda was a primary school teacher who, without formal nurture training, prioritised safety, play and wellbeing in her infant classroom and worked to create secure relationships with children and parents.
Her current areas of interest are restorative practices in schools and supporting staff wellbeing through the introduction of structured supervision in schools although nothing tops visiting a classic nurture group (especially at snack time!).
