The Theory and Practice of Nurture Groups – 16th Jan 25, 17th Jan 25, 27th Feb 25 – Surrey Nurturing Schools Programme Group 2
This course is for schools enrolled in the Surrey Nurturing Schools Programme. It develops your school’s nurture practice by training practitioners to deliver evidence-based nurture interventions and/or establish a nurture group.
There is space for two people from your school to attend this course. Delegates must attend all three days of the course. The modules are delivered online via Zoom, with additional post-learning activities accessed via an online learning platform.
Part 1: 2 consecutive days – Thursday 16th January 2025, Friday 17th January 2025
Part 2: 1 day (4 – 6 weeks later) – Thursday 27th February 2025
Each group has a maximum number of 6 schools (12 delegates) to ensure good levels of participation and support.
It is preferable for you to participate in a quiet space, where you are unlikely to be disturbed, with one screen per person. Depending on your workplace’s security system, you might also find it tricky to access Zoom, in which case we recommend accessing the course from home (or any alternative location).
